Torches/Flashlights
Torches and flashlights are both portable light sources, but the terms are often used differently based on regional language. In the US, “flashlight” is the common term for a handheld electric light. In the UK and some other Commonwealth countries, “torch” is the more common term. Historically, a torch was a burning stick, but the term evolved to describe electric handheld lights. So, while technically the same thing, usage varies by location.
